MAWL Modernization Program

The MAWL® series of products consists of multiple variants, all of which are based on a common MAWL product design. Since 2016, B.E. Meyers & Co. has modified the product design and performance based on feedback from military, law enforcement/government, and consumer end-users worldwide. Currently, new MAWL units are on their 8th iteration of infrastructure improvement.
B.E. Meyers is now offering a mail-in update service to modernize older MAWL units. This service includes upgraded tactile windage/elevation adjusters, new infrared laser settings, the newer Removable Propeller Cap, with revised settings/programming, new IR illuminators, IR pointer, and visible pointer.

FRONT HEAD SERVICE

Components comprised in the shaded section of the MAWL head illustrated above will be removed and replaced with more modern components. Rear portions (unshaded portions) of the MAWL head showing all required laser safety data, date of manufacture (DOM), and serial number will remain unchanged. MAWL Laser Devices comprising the same modern components installed under this MAWL Modernization Program have been in use and exported with approved DDTC licenses, since circa 2021.
