B.E. Meyers & Co. Exhibiting Advanced Photonics Solutions at SOF Week 2026

B.E. Meyers & Co. is excited to be exhibiting at SOF Week this week, 18-21 May! Co-sponsored by the US Special Operations Command and Global SOF Foundation, this annual conference is a gathering of vendors showcasing their latest technologies and products from around the world.

We will be featuring our premier advanced photonics systems – VSLAP®, DAGIR®, MAWL®, and MILR®. Please find us at Booth 1153 (Level 3) of the Tampa Convention Center

VSLAP-V1®

Production variants of VSLAP-V1® (Variable Six Laser Advanced Pointer) will be at SOF Week! Designed specifically for ground-to-air communication, this product is especially useful for many SOF specific and attached units.

As the spiritual successor of the IZLID®, the VSLAP® features patented DeathStar™ co-aligned laser diode technology for unmatched power, clarity, and reliability.

Enhanced ergonomics combined with cutting-edge laser technology will make this a staple of JTAC operations for years to come.

DAGIR® Lasers, USSOCOM Contract Award Winning Lasers

B.E. Meyers & Co. will be proudly exhibiting DAGIR® advanced multi-platform aiming lasers at the SOF Week annual conference!

As the only fully digital multi-function aiming laser (MFAL) with digitally adjustable illumination divergence, the DAGIR® family of lasers is uniquely durable and adaptable.  By utilizing advanced laser technology, the DAGIR® eliminates mechanical divergence adjustment hardware; this results in a lighter, smaller, more durable laser than traditional laser designs.

The DAGIR®-V1 underwent significant testing and competition, and has been selected by USSOCOM for the Squad Aiming Laser, Ultra High Power (SAL-UHP) program, winning the LA-30 JETDS designation, while the DAGIR®-V2, with the addition of an on-board visual laser override button, was selected for the Miniature Aiming Laser, Ultra High Power (MAL-UHP) program.

US Army Acquired MAWL, DAGIR V1 lasers

In February 2026, we announced that the U.S. Army awarded B.E. Meyers & Company a contract for MAWL®-X1 and DAGIR-V1 lasers in support of the U.S. Army Night lethality.

The MAWL®-X1 is the Department of War variant of the Modular Advanced Weapon Laser (MAWL®) and has recently been seen fielded in training exercises with the 25th Infantry Division and 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).  This laser has been utilized by militaries and SOF units around the world, with 30,000 units sold as of 2026.

The U.S. Army acquiring the DAGIR®-V1 after the DAGIR®-V1 was selected by USSOCOM for the SAL-UHP program is further validation of the design and execution of this advanced multi-platform aiming laser.

Utilizing cutting-edge design, technologies, and engineering, this laser aiming module is significantly more powerful and durable than legacy designs while weighing only 7 ounces.

Miniature Intelligent Laser Rangefinder MILR®

Designed for long-range interdiction and crew-served weapons, the Miniature Intelligent Laser Rangefinder (MILR®) is a laser illuminator and pointer that has an integrated laser rangefinder and ballistic computer.

With a mounted and zeroed MILR®, users can range out a target and utilize it immediately. The onboard ballistic computer with Applied Ballistics™ data “disturbs” (aka, adjusts) the aiming laser for ballistic compensation based on acquired range, allowing users to get perfectly ballistic compensation when engaging from the first round.

The MILR® on-board computer stores data for most of the common conventional and SOF-issued small arms and crew-served weapons.  Custom ballistic data can be entered to ensure accuracy with future weapon systems as well.

See you in Tampa!
