Meyers & Co. MAWL^®, and eagle-eyed observers have noted it on GIGN operators' hands in recent years.

The French Navy’s FORFUSCO (Force maritime des fusiliers marins et commandos), which oversees maritime special operations forces, has also been a long-standing customer. The organization relies on the MAWL^® for its small‑arms NIR illumination and aiming requirements, taking full advantage of the system’s ergonomic, multi‑platform design.
