Our staff of engineers is expert in all aspects of new product development including new product definition, project management, prototyping, design for manufacturability, product and design testing and validation, manufacturing tooling, process development, and initial assembly line design. Optical and Mechanical Engineering staff utilizes high-end computer workstations with SolidWorks® 3D solid modeling Computer-Aided Design software for mechanical designs, and ZEMAX® optical simulation software to test and validate their optical designs. The Electrical Engineering staff uses a variety of test and measurement equipment, schematic capture software, analog Spice modeling, digital static and dynamic timing analyses, and mathematical software for full worst-case design analysis of system power, loading, and timing parameters. We also use the latest Field Programmable Gate Array design and analysis tools for the development of smart, flexible, low power, and easily reprogrammable designs placed within a single integrated circuit.
